Divine Coding
Text: Daniel 5:11
“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; …..”
MESSAGE
That is an interesting food for thought in Daniel 5:11 “There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;”
The text point to life not been random, but coded, so that beneath the surface of life’s events, experiences, decisions, and transitions are coded mysteries and messages that requires divine knowledge, interpretation, understanding and wisdom not merely found in human intelligence or interpretation.
The handwriting on the wall in Daniel 5 was visible to everyone but understandable to no one. When the magicians failed and the experts were confused, someone remembered: “There is a man in this kingdom…”
Daniel stood out not because he has chains of secular or theological degrees or doctorates nor was he the loudest, or most intelligent but because he was filled with the Spirit of God and possessed wisdom from above.
Daniel was not in the palace when the crisis began. He was not among the magicians or astrologers. Yet when the king needed answers, Daniel was remembered, and sought for.
Daniel did not need to compete with the experts; he simply carried what they did not have.
Life will continually present coded moments—difficult decisions, confusing transitions, hidden opportunities, and unexpected crises. When they come, the world will need Daniels: people who can see beyond the obvious, discern beyond appearances, and interpret what others can only observe.
Daniel’s wisdom was more than education or intelligence. He was enabled by the Spirit of God. Divine wisdom transcends credentials, surpasses human expertise, and brings clarity where others see confusion.
So, stop merely watching life happen. Learn to interpret it. Stop being impressed by noise; pursue depth. You were not called to be a spectator in your generation. You are called to be a voice, a solution, and an interpreter. But such usefulness requires consecration, intimacy with God, spiritual depth, and a refusal to live an ordinary life.
Cultivate a life heaven can trust with secrets. Live so faithfully that when crisis comes, someone can say, “There is a man in this kingdom…”—and they mean you.
The next time the handwriting appears on the wall, may you be the one who can read it—the Daniel in your generation. Amen
St. Matthew 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. St. Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Loneliness because you belong to Jesus Christ is the price you pay to build yourself up, and the greatest thing you can build is yourself in Him, with you decreasing and Him increasing in your life that His glory in you may be made manifest.
Truth is, “The mind does not fear the truth first. It fears the life the truth will demand. That is why denial feels calm. It postpones a decision, not a consequence.” No wonder we get the wages of sin, which is death.
Believers should understand that sometimes our prayers are answered but the answer is No!
In other word, “You cannot think your way into becoming the person only your actions can introduce. When the storm beats the tree, many birds fly away—but the one that remains through the thunder is the one that truly calls it home.”
Is sin not attractive to you?
Sin keeps inviting you, “Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you’ll be able to see further, for you are a magnet for success and opportunities.”
Beloved, all that ends in this world. You will soon discovered, albeit too late that all that gilliters are not gold, and that vanity upon vanity, is a life lived without Jesus Christ.
Remember that one day you will wake up and do things for the last time without knowing it’s the last time. The sleep or that going out or coming in, eating, fighting, quarrelling etc will look normal, yet will be the last time! Nothing extra ordinary except that you would have said good night on the earthly side and find yourself woke up on the otherside of the terrestrial. There you have welcome to your eternity in heaven or hell, on the right or left side of Jesus who you obeyed or betrayed, condemned, rejected and ignored when you had the opportunity to accept on earth.
Unfortunately, you cannot and have not the luxury of a repeat journey! Then you will remember the saying that, “Most betrayals begin long before trust is broken. They begin the day curiosity ends. The moment someone believes they no longer need to understand you, they begin speaking to a memory instead of a person.”
Accept and follow Jesus now.
