Wisdom Tool Kit For Daily living (Day 235)

MESSAGE

Spiritual victory does not only depend on what Christ has done on the cross; it also depends on how the believer thinks about what Christ has done. Many believers are saved in spirit but defeated in thought patterns. This creates a contradiction: victory in Christ, but bondage in mindset.
Romans 12:2 reveals God’s strategy for transformation: “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Transformation is not emotional improvement; it is mental restructuring according to divine truth.
The word “conformed” refers to being shaped by external pressure. In contrast, “transformed” refers to inward change that produces outward expression. This means the believer must resist the world’s system of thinking and adopt God’s system of thinking. Colossians 3:1–2 (NKJV) deepens this truth: “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above… Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Notice the instruction is not only about behavior but focus. Where the mind is set determines how life is experienced. A believer who constantly thinks from fear will interpret life through fear. A believer who thinks from Christ’s victory will interpret life through authority.
This is why many Christians struggle in spiritual warfare—not because the enemy is stronger, but because their thinking is still unrenewed. A renewed mind aligns with heaven’s verdict, not earthly circumstances. Ephesians 4:23–24 (NKJV) says: “and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
The “new man” is not a future identity; it is a present reality in Christ. But it must be consciously put on through renewed thinking.

A powerful biblical example is found in Numbers 13–14. Twelve spies saw the same land, but only two saw it from God’s perspective. Ten saw giants and concluded defeat. Two saw God’s promise and concluded victory. The difference was not in the land—it was in the mind.
This is the core of spiritual warfare: interpretation. What you believe about your situation determines how you respond to it.

A renewed mind begins to interpret trials differently. Instead of seeing opposition as defeat, it sees it as an opportunity for manifestation of Christ’s victory.
Philippians 4:8 (NKJV) provides a practical guide: “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just… meditate on these things.” Meditation is not empty repetition; it is intentional focus that reshapes thinking patterns.

Jesus demonstrated renewed mind living when He faced opposition. In Luke 4, when tempted by Satan, He did not argue emotionally; He responded with Scripture: “It is written…” This shows that spiritual stability is rooted in the Word, not in circumstances.

A mind that is not renewed will misinterpret spiritual authority as arrogance, faith as foolishness, and opposition as defeat. But a renewed mind sees reality through Christ’s finished work.
Romans 8:6 (NKJV) says: “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
The “carnal mind” is not just sinful thoughts; it is natural thinking disconnected from God’s truth. It produces fear, anxiety, and instability. But spiritual thinking produces peace and clarity.
Many believers pray for victory but think from defeat. They confess authority but meditate on fear. This inconsistency weakens spiritual experience.
Renewing the mind is therefore not optional; it is essential for sustained victory.
As believers begin this transformation, they must consistently replace lies with truth:

• Fear is replaced with faith
• Condemnation is replaced with righteousness
• Defeat is replaced with victory
• Confusion is replaced with clarity

This is how spiritual maturity develops—not overnight, but through daily alignment with Scripture.
A renewed mind becomes stable in battle because it is anchored in finished truth, not changing circumstances.

PRAYER SESSION

1. Father, I thank You for the transformation available through Your Word, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Lord, renew my mind according to Your truth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. I reject every mindset of fear and defeat, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Father, align my thoughts with Christ’s finished work, in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. I receive the grace to think according to God’s Word daily, in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. Every lie of the enemy in my mind is destroyed, in the name of Jesus Christ.
7. Father, give me clarity of spiritual understanding, in the name of Jesus Christ..
8. I declare that I have the mind of Christ, in the name of Jesus Christ.
9. Father, deliver me from confusion and double-mindedness, in the name of Jesus Christ.
10. I walk in spiritual wisdom and discernment, in the name of Jesus Christ.
11. Father, let Your Word dominate my thinking, in the name of Jesus Christ.
12. I break free from mental bondage, in the name of Jesus Christ.
13. Father, establish peace in my thought life, in the name of Jesus Christ.
14. I declare stability over my emotions and reasoning, in the name of Jesus Christ.
15. Father, help me interpret life through Your truth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
16. I receive victory over negative thoughts, in the name of Jesus Christ.
17. Father, strengthen my meditation in Your Word, in the name of Jesus Christ.
18. I declare that my mind is renewed daily by Scripture, in the name of Jesus Christ.
19. Father, make me spiritually sensitive and grounded, in the name of Jesus Christ.
20. I walk in alignment with God’s will and purpose, in the name of Jesus Christ.

St. Matthew 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. St. Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Loneliness because you belong to Jesus Christ is the price you pay to build yourself up, and the greatest thing you can build is yourself in Him, with you decreasing and Him increasing in your life that His glory in you may be made manifest.

Truth is, “The mind does not fear the truth first. It fears the life the truth will demand. That is why denial feels calm. It postpones a decision, not a consequence.” No wonder we get the wages of sin, which is death.

Believers should understand that sometimes our prayers are answered but the answer is No!

In other word, “You cannot think your way into becoming the person only your actions can introduce. When the storm beats the tree, many birds fly away—but the one that remains through the thunder is the one that truly calls it home.”

Is sin not attractive to you?

Sin keeps inviting you, “Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you’ll be able to see further, for you are a magnet for success and opportunities.”

Beloved, all that ends in this world. You will soon discovered, albeit too late that all that gilliters are not gold, and that vanity upon vanity, is a life lived without Jesus Christ.

Remember that one day you will wake up and do things for the last time without knowing it’s the last time. The sleep or that going out or coming in, eating, fighting, quarrelling etc will look normal, yet will be the last time! Nothing extra ordinary except that you would have said good night on the earthly side and find yourself woke up on the otherside of the terrestrial. There you have welcome to your eternity in heaven or hell, on the right or left side of Jesus who you obeyed or betrayed, condemned, rejected and ignored when you had the opportunity to accept on earth.

Unfortunately, you cannot and have not the luxury of a repeat journey! Then you will remember the saying that, “Most betrayals begin long before trust is broken. They begin the day curiosity ends. The moment someone believes they no longer need to understand you, they begin speaking to a memory instead of a person.”
