Are You A Risk Taker Or Averter
Text: Esther 4:16
“Go, … My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”
Message
You are either a risk taker or Averter?
A risk taker as the name implies is disposed to taking risk while an Averter avoids it like a plague.
If you are a risk taker, you are on course, but if you are a risk Averter, you are out or on your way out. For nobody will agree to go down for you to rise.
No one will agree to be shamed or embarrassed for your smile to be sustained. It is you that must look at shame and embarrassment eye ball to eye ball and say, ” do your worst”. And if occasions demands tell death, “if I die, I die”.
So what should you do to rise or grow when others are rising or growing without destroying or sabotaging others?
It is in taking risk. Though nothing is ever guaranteed, taking calculated risks is the only way to move forward and advance your life. As the saying goes, “Fortune favors the brave.”
Life is full of risks. No outcome is ever 100% certain. So, no matter what you do, you have to take risk, not once but all times as duties demands. In taking risk never forget these lessons of life.
Always remember that finding satisfaction in the pain of others will never bring you true happiness, what you wish others is a prayer for yourself.
Become the good fire that genuinely lights up others, not one that ruins the joy, goodwill, and expectation of others, never take delight in causing pain or sponsoring the tears of another, never ever use your position in authority to punish others. You never know tomorrow. Life is uncertain. Also, never use the position you occupy today to frustrate others, for you never can tell what the future holds tomorrow.
Best of all, allow the true FEAR OF GOD to guide your days, STRENGTHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS and SET YOUR COURSE!
NEVER, I REPEAT, NEVER LOOK DOWN ON ANYBODY EXCEPT YOU ARE ADMIRING THEIR SHOES.
These are the path to true peace, lasting influence and MEANINGFUL LIVING.
STAY BLESSED. TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE, YOU MEET ON YOUR WAY UP. THEY MAY BE THE SAME PEOPLE YOU MEET ON YOUR WAY DOWN.
LIFE IS ITSELF A RISK. BE ENCOURAGED IN THY LORD.
