When Life Throws You A Curved Ball

Text: Romans 8:28

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Message

When Life throws you a curved ball you are likely to miss the ball and before you say hey, scored against!

If you don’t take your time past scores that are against you instead of testing your resilience will make you a captive.

That’s why you are to delete old photos and videos so that you can have space for new ones on your phone and laptop. Are you not aware that you need to do the same thing to your mind?

Delete old hurts and grudges, so that good memories will have space to stay in your mind!

When milk is fresh, it is good for drinking and for tea. When it is shaken, it produces butter. When it gets infected with bacteria, it becomes yoghurt.

Be like milk. Use everything that happens to you, good or bad, to your advantage. Let them all add value to you. Delete the bitter so the better can have space to manifest!

Charlie Boy wrote, ” “We must be very mindful about our mental health.

Nothing must pollute our Brain Box.” He went further, “Part of how I survived my psychotic challenges, is being able to be my true self, which is one of the strongest components of good mental health.”

Another he said is, “Open up to people you trust, never isolate yourself.” As you know and indeed, hope in God no matter the level of our faith, does not guarantee the absence of difficulties, but equips us with the fortitude to endure, to learn, and to grow from our experiences.

In difficult times as these, hope in God can ignite the flame of resilience within us as it empowers us to rise above adversity and face challenges of life with courage and determination.

In a time such as this, we  need to hope in God. Period.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in concerning you”.

We are asked to always give thanks to God no matter the situation we are face with.

But why should I give God thanks when I’m going through difficult challenge? Someone may ask.

Our reference passage does not give us a reason or reasons we should give thanks. That means it’s unconditional. We just have to praise him in every situation that we find ourselves.

But even if you think deeply and inwardly, you can see reasons why in your present condition, Thanksgiving is still very necessary because there is someone out there who is going through a worse situation. There is another person out there who had not gone through half of what you are going through and the person couldn’t make it. The person died.

Again, I like to remind you that as long as you still have life in you, there is hope for you.

Don’t be so worried about your past mistakes which might have led to your present predicament. Just forget about it and forge ahead.

What you would have achieved in 10 years, God can make you achieve it within a year.

Just make sure you maintain the right relationship with him always.

Hope you are encouraging yourself in the Lord.

It’s well with you and your loved ones in the mighty name of Jesus.

Regards
