2026 Alone With God
There is no more shame or disgrace for me
Text: St. John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
MESSAGE
Have you observed that many decisions you made to benefit you or others can produce unfactored consequences?
Of a greater effect is that as carnal being, not being in spirit, we do things that we hate. Evil is constantly with us to buffet us. So we do what we would not, and leave undone what we should!
Now that we have again come to the knowledge of sin, we must remember that there is room for forgiveness and mercy if we return to God asking for forgiveness and mercy.
Surprisingly, and which ought not to be as it is in the nature and character of God, Christ Jesus forgives us for the same reason He saved and forgives us for the first time that we sinned and came to Him for the forgiveness of our sins.
Romans 8:1 says something interesting. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Satan the accused is the only one that is already condemned, and cannot be saved again. Blessed are we that we are not under the canopy of his executed sentence!
It is in the light of our blessedness paid for by the blood of Jesus that the the phrase “no condemnation in Christ” declares that people who belong to Jesus Christ are free from God’s final judgment and punishment for sin, and this is key we remembered as we strive towards our perfection with fear and with trembling.
The word for “no” means zero or absolutely none, meaning there is no penalty left for believers because of Jesus finished works. Jesus paid the price for past, present, and future sins on the cross.
Believers do not need to carry shame or fear God’s wrath for God sees believers as righteous through grace, not through their own perfection.
People of God can stop trying to earn God’s love and instead obey Him out of gratitude.
Because God does not condemn the believer, the believer should show grace and forgiveness to self and to others, “seventy times seven times.”
By the finished work of Christ Jesus on Calvary, there is remaining no more condemnation for me, then there is no more shame or disgrace for me. Alleluia.
1 John 3:1 (KJV), says, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God,” highlighting that God does not just tolerate humans; He chooses to call flawed people His actual children. This divine love (agape) is given freely even when people do not deserve it or love Him first. It is Unconditional Grace, and “to whom much is given, much is required” (Luke 12:48).
Prayers
- Lord Jesus we thank you that you are ever ready to answer the salvation prayers of a sinner, the chief of which I am. I have come to you with my loads of sin, Father forgive me in the multitude of your mercy
St. Matthew 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. St. Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Loneliness because you belong to Jesus Christ is the price you pay to build yourself up, and the greatest thing you can build is yourself in Him, with you decreasing and Him increasing in your life that His glory in you may be made manifest.
Truth is, “The mind does not fear the truth first. It fears the life the truth will demand. That is why denial feels calm. It postpones a decision, not a consequence.” No wonder we get the wages of sin, which is death.
Believers should understand that sometimes our prayers are answered but the answer is No!
In other word, “You cannot think your way into becoming the person only your actions can introduce. When the storm beats the tree, many birds fly away—but the one that remains through the thunder is the one that truly calls it home.”
Is sin not attractive to you?
Sin keeps inviting you, “Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you’ll be able to see further, for you are a magnet for success and opportunities.”
Beloved, all that ends in this world. You will soon discovered, albeit too late that all that gilliters are not gold, and that vanity upon vanity, is a life lived without Jesus Christ.
Remember that one day you will wake up and do things for the last time without knowing it’s the last time. The sleep or that going out or coming in, eating, fighting, quarrelling etc will look normal, yet will be the last time! Nothing extra ordinary except that you would have said good night on the earthly side and find yourself woke up on the otherside of the terrestrial. There you have welcome to your eternity in heaven or hell, on the right or left side of Jesus who you obeyed or betrayed, condemned, rejected and ignored when you had the opportunity to accept on earth.
Unfortunately, you cannot and have not the luxury of a repeat journey! Then you will remember the saying that, “Most betrayals begin long before trust is broken. They begin the day curiosity ends. The moment someone believes they no longer need to understand you, they begin speaking to a memory instead of a person.”
Accept and follow Jesus now.
