Keys To Having New Marriage Wine
Text:Chronicles 7:14-16 King James Version (KJV)
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Message
Have you lost your marriage or in the process of loosing it?
Halt there!
Do a rethink of its possible consequences.
God has not forgotten you. You will get out of it. You will be healed. Things will turn around for your good.
May I suggest the following keys in help aside looking for it where you lost it.
Number 1: Fall in love with Jesus. You do his will. Your actions should be as His not the dictate of your emotions. The word has its standard. Follow it’s dictate not your tradition, custom or environmental preference. Know ye not that your environment is infected and polluted?
If you fall in love with Jesus you will see with the eyes of Jesus. You will see that your spouse is “good”. Are you surprised? But that is what God says at the beginning. Why are you then saying your spouse is bad, a no good, a bitch and better, Satan?
Two, Repent; Yes, Jesus was busy loving while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). But Revelation 2:4-5, “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent”.
John says if we don’t we will be condemned. John 3:17-18, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”.
Guessed you don’t want to be condemned?
Then hearken to His word!
Three, Spouses should be patient and persevering. 1 Corinthians 13:17, speaks of love being The Greatest Gift. It says, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
1 Corinthians 13:5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
1 Corinthians 13:6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
1 Corinthians 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things”.
Fourthly, remember your first love and have a change of mind for the better, by changing your confessions.
Tongue is powerful. Life and death is at its beck and call. Stop the negative things you speak about yourself or your spouse. Speak words of affirmation. Change your words and your emotions will follow.
Fifthly, Do the right thing! Start acting lovingly. Accept each other. Invite each other to the Holy of Holy. Exchange gift and l love you messages. Love break will not be a bad idea. While in the loo just ask after each other. Tell your spouse, “I love you or I am love sick”. If you think that that’s a bad idea then you have not read the love exchanges and actions in romantic record in Songs of Solomon. Even God says, “Jacob, I love…” So, always live affirming your love!
Sixth, Be positive in, out and around in your thinking and action towards each other.
You don’t change things by acting negatively it is the positive that does. Act positively and things will turn around.
Finally have for your instructions a Bible believing mentor, someone who as a son or daughter of God have records of medals withstanding marriage odds and adversaries. Truth is nothing is new under the sun. Some got into eat before learn from them and be wise.
In other to avoid clashes it is better you both have same couple, individual or family as someone you look up to for guidance and advice in good or bad times.
Note that it is of no use having someone that you or your marriage or family account to as a mentor yet, will instruct you and you will disobey. It’s a disrespectful, can create bad blood and denies you life saving support, advice and guardians in the future.
Disobedience is as the sin of rebellion and to obey is better than sacrifice or the fat of rams.
May your love be without dissimulation.
May you be willing and obedient to take actions in abhorrence of that which is evil.
May you cleave to that which is good and loving.
May God touch your heart of stone and that of your spouse, to help your marriage and family out of the woods and wilderness of hate that you presently have for each other.
May your marriage wine returns to you now in the name of Jesus Christ.
Now sing with me;
I can see myself o turning around,
Turning around,
Turning around for my good.
I can see my spouse o turning around,
Turning around,
Turning around for my good.
I can see family turning around,
Turning around,
Turning around for my good.
I can see everything turning around,
Turning around,
Turning around for my good.
So shall it all be in Jesus Prescious and Mighty Name.
Amen.
