Wisdom Tool Kit For Daily living (Day 228)

This journey begins on a note of gratitude because nothing in the life of a believer begins correctly without thanksgiving. The breath in our lungs, the strength in our bodies, the preservation of our lives, and the privilege of entering into a season of focused fellowship with God are all expressions of divine mercy.

Many started previous seasons with plans but never reached this moment. Some fought battles they could not explain and some faced burdens they could not bear. Yet here we are, not by wisdom, strength, or effort, but by the sustaining hand of God. “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22–23, NKJV).

We also acknowledge that this gathering is not ordinary. It is a spiritual appointment. Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and I in you” (John 15:4, NKJV). This programme is a call back to abiding, a call into deeper fellowship, and a call into renewed spiritual strength.

As we enter this journey of 2026 Alone With God Programme, expectation must rise. God does not call His people into His presence without intention. “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy” (Psalm 16:11, NKJV). What we seek is not just answers, but encounter; not just breakthrough, but transformation; not just results, but Christ Himself.
Let every heart therefore be lifted in gratitude, because thanksgiving prepares the soil for revelation, and revelation produces transformation.

Text: Colossians 2:13–15 (NKJV)
“And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

MESSAGE
Every believer must begin their spiritual life from the right foundation, because misunderstanding the foundation leads to frustration in experience. The foundation of Christian victory is not effort, not emotion, not even spiritual discipline alone—it is the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Paul writes in Colossians 2:13–14 that humanity was “dead in trespasses.” This is not poetic language; it is spiritual diagnosis. Deadness here means separation from divine life, inability to please God, and inability to rescue oneself. But the text immediately shifts the attention from human condition to divine intervention: “He has made alive together with Him.”

The transition from death to life is not gradual improvement; it is resurrection. God did not repair us; He made us alive. This is the miracle of salvation.

Then Paul continues: “having forgiven you all trespasses.” Not some, not most, but all. The completeness of forgiveness is central to understanding spiritual authority. A believer who still feels condemned will struggle to walk in victory. But when forgiveness is fully received, confidence is restored.

The passage goes further: “having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us.” In ancient culture, this refers to a written record of debt—something legally binding that demands payment. Spiritually, it represents the law’s accusations and the record of sin. But Scripture says it was not partially erased; it was wiped out completely.
And where did it go? “He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” The cross is not just where Jesus died; it is where every accusation died. Every legal claim of the enemy against the believer was removed at Calvary.

This is why Hebrews
2:14 declares, “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.” The word “destroy” does not mean Satan ceased to exist; it means his legal authority over redeemed humanity was broken. He was stripped of power over those who are in Christ.
Many believers still fight as though the enemy is undefeated. But Scripture presents a different reality: the enemy is disarmed. Colossians 2:15 continues, “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” The imagery is of a Roman victory parade where defeated generals are openly displayed. Calvary was not a silent transaction; it was a public declaration of Christ’s supremacy.
At the cross, Jesus did not struggle for victory; He established victory. This is why His final words are so powerful: “It is finished!” (John 19:30, NKJV). This declaration means the debt is fully paid, the mission is complete, and nothing can be added to the work of redemption.

Therefore, the believer’s spiritual warfare is not a battle for victory but a battle from victory. This is why Romans 8:37 says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Notice the phrase: “through Him.” The victory is not self-generated; it is Christ-initiated and Christ-sustained.

This truth must reshape how we pray, think, and respond to life’s challenges. We are not begging for victory; we are enforcing what has already been accomplished. We are not negotiating with darkness; we are standing in authority over it.

Even Jesus prepared His disciples for this reality when He said, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, NKJV). The command is not to fear but to be encouraged, because His overcoming becomes our covering.

A believer who understands the triumph of the cross no longer approaches life from inferiority but from authority. Prayer becomes enforcement of truth. Faith becomes agreement with finished work. Spiritual growth becomes deeper alignment with what Christ has already done.

As we begin this journey, the Holy Spirit is calling us out of striving into resting, out of fear into confidence, and out of defeatism into established victory. The cross is not the end of hope—it is the beginning of authority.

4. Father, I thank You for the gift of life and the privilege of entering this spiritual season, in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Lord Jesus, I thank You for the finished work of redemption on the cross, in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. Father, open my eyes to understand the depth of Christ’s victory, in the name of Jesus Christ.
7. Lord, deliver me from every form of condemnation and guilt, in the name of Jesus Christ.
8. I receive grace to walk in the consciousness of forgiveness, in the name of Jesus Christ.
9. Every lie of the enemy against my identity in Christ, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus Christ.
10. Father, establish my heart in the assurance of salvation, in the name of Jesus Christ.
11. Lord, teach me to pray from a position of victory, not defeat, in the name of Jesus Christ.
12. I nullify every accusation of darkness against my life by the blood of Jesus Christ, in the name of Jesus Christ.
13. Father, renew my mind with the truth of Your Word, in the name of Jesus Christ.
14. I receive boldness to stand in spiritual authority, in the name of Jesus Christ.
15. Every chain of fear and anxiety in my life, break now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
16. Father, let my spiritual life be rooted in Christ’s finished work, in the name of Jesus Christ.
17. I declare freedom over my mind, emotions, and spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ.
18. Lord, help me to resist the devil with confidence in Your Word, in the name of Jesus Christ.
19. I receive strength to overcome every daily temptation, in the name of Jesus Christ.
20. Father, let Your peace rule in my heart, in the name of Jesus Christ.
21. I walk in the authority of Christ over every demonic influence, in the name of Jesus Christ.
22. Father, make my life a testimony of Your victory, in the name of Jesus Christ.
23. I declare that I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ.
24. Father, let the triumph of the cross be fully evident in my life, family, and destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ.

St. Matthew 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. St. Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Loneliness because you belong to Jesus Christ is the price you pay to build yourself up, and the greatest thing you can build is yourself in Him, with you decreasing and Him increasing in your life that His glory in you may be made manifest.

Truth is, “The mind does not fear the truth first. It fears the life the truth will demand. That is why denial feels calm. It postpones a decision, not a consequence.” No wonder we get the wages of sin, which is death.

Believers should understand that sometimes our prayers are answered but the answer is No!

In other word, “You cannot think your way into becoming the person only your actions can introduce. When the storm beats the tree, many birds fly away—but the one that remains through the thunder is the one that truly calls it home.”

Is sin not attractive to you?

Sin keeps inviting you, “Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you’ll be able to see further, for you are a magnet for success and opportunities.”

Beloved, all that ends in this world. You will soon discovered, albeit too late that all that gilliters are not gold, and that vanity upon vanity, is a life lived without Jesus Christ.

Remember that one day you will wake up and do things for the last time without knowing it’s the last time. The sleep or that going out or coming in, eating, fighting, quarrelling etc will look normal, yet will be the last time! Nothing extra ordinary except that you would have said good night on the earthly side and find yourself woke up on the otherside of the terrestrial. There you have welcome to your eternity in heaven or hell, on the right or left side of Jesus who you obeyed or betrayed, condemned, rejected and ignored when you had the opportunity to accept on earth.

Unfortunately, you cannot and have not the luxury of a repeat journey! Then you will remember the saying that, “Most betrayals begin long before trust is broken. They begin the day curiosity ends. The moment someone believes they no longer need to understand you, they begin speaking to a memory instead of a person.”
