It’s Only You
Text: Ephesians 3:20-21
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
Message
It’s Only You. Yes, It’s Only You that is given the power to shape your life, according to the power that works in you!
You said “what of things outside my control?”.
Yes I agree with you in part that in the journey of life, there are countless elements beyond our control. For instance, we cannot dictate the day to be born, the weather, prevent death of loved ones or self, unexpected events, or change the actions of others. However, amidst this vast sea of uncontrollable variables, there lies a profound truth: we have the power to shape who we are and be grateful to God for who we are.
Truth is, you are lonely. That I understand. But remember that you cannot and will never be alone for God has promised to be with His children always. This you can bank on and take to any bank.
Heard you saying, “things are bad, not working as planned and the weather is not encouraging”. I say, “so what?” You lost some, but is because of God that you have not lost all!
Brother, stop waiting for your choice of music to be played, doing that will prevent your dancing and happiness in life. Adjust yourself with what you have and be happy with yourself. Let no one deceive you, “You no carry last”. “You are not the first or last in that situation or circumstances”.
Suicide is no option, remember that no matter how long, life is in itself short and scary. So be yourself, maintain your integrity and keep moving forward in Christ. God is in control.
All in and around you are in one pain or the other. You need to know that much as we are all pained, so is every single day an opportunity for us to start anew. Tap on your ’24-hour Reset Button”. Stop dwelling on what went wrong or who caused it. Instead, focus on what to do next. Let no what, how, when or who down your spirit. Spend your energies on moving forward. You will be happy again. You will Succeed! Keep your faith and you will get to the pinnacle of your life best!
How?
By doing things not because they are convenient but because they are necessary, focus on the essential and meaningful rather than merely what’s easy or convenient.
Remember that “Emergency” is an emergency and will remain so. So, focus more on what is important. This is about prioritizing actions that have a significant purpose or impact, even if they require more effort, time, or resources.
Keep winning and Keep moving forward. But a note of warning!
For every action, there’s an equal opposite reaction, cause and effect, your doing or omission and their consequence.
Before you say something or act in a certain way, think about the consequences. You can live life anyhow and expect to end alright.
You can’t be unprepared to hear some truth or won’t respond well to meaningful correction gesture, and advice no matter how good and intended and say it is well. That’s self deceit, better, a suicide!
Be relational and intentional in the way you treat others. Treat each of your word or doing with caution. Everything you do or fail to do in life have repercussions.
Don’t remove the bridge because you have crossed. You will need it than others sooner than you expected. Whatever you sow, you will reap.
Also, remember that every single day is an opportunity for you to start anew. Tap each day a ’24-hour Reset Button”.
Don’t dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer. You will Succeed!
Finally, bear in mind the fact that life is very short. So break your silly EGO. Forgive quickly. Believe slowly. Love truly.
Laugh loudly and never avoid anything that makes you smile.
