Times are tough, but….
Text: Psalm 55:22
“Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
Message
Times are tough. Yes. But God is tougher.
“God is tougher” is a phrase that can refer to the idea that God is stronger than any problem or enemy that a person might face.
Psalm 73:26 says, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Alsi, Psalm 9:18, “But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.”
Further, Psalm 18:32-33, “It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer and sets me on my high places.”
Joyce Meyer wrote the book, “You’re Stronger Than You Think.” I commend you get and read.
Tough times are for the tough ones. But truth be told, you have passed through a lot of tough times. The current cannot be an exception. You will out live it too.
God uses tough time and its challenges to inspect, direct, correct, protect, and perfect you. Each challenge in tough time brings us closer to His wisdom and guidance and the need to trust Him, more and more.
Truth is, in the midst of challenges, there is still room to rejoice and gloat over some surprises such that even in times of uncertainty, we can still hold on to hope. Know that you are not alone, and God’s presence surrounds you. His strength will carry you through, and His love will guide you.
Take a deep breath, stand firm, and remember: You are strong. You are resilient. You are loved. Keep pushing forward, and know that better days are ahead.
Always remind yourself that the *Almighty God* loves the patient, those who persevere and seek His comfort, and His rewards for them are tremendous.
You will not expire with these tough times or any other.
