You Are Required to Give Your Best To Those In Need

Text: 2 Corinthians 8:12

“For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.”

Message

There are many gifts God gives us but the best is His only begotten Son, (John 3:16). God gave his only Son to suffer and be killed so we would not die in our sin. Jesus let go of the perfection of heavenly community. He emptied himself and traded his perfect life for our mess, when we didn’t even know him, while we were still sinning (Romans 5:8)!

After living a life of demonstrated, pure generosity, Jesus, our coming King, gave us his glory (John 17:22). Then he gave his own life to save us.

Others of God’s important best includes the Holy Spirit and Wisdom to understand His will for us. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him” (James 1:5). God did not give you the good things of life for you to enjoy it alone. Giving is love in demonstration.

We must give with an eager, genuine heart. We must not be resentful about providing our best to those in need. We provide for others by participating in acts of service or contributing finances and bare necessities.

We are also to consider it a great honour and better to share our blessings with our brothers and sisters in Christ. The Lord asks that we give with happy, humble hearts to demonstrate His love to the world.

The greatest gifts you Can Give Your Loved Ones are as follows:

While you can give all to other the best is giving them God’s best, the man Jesus. Introduce them to Jesus and Jesus to them. Watch, nurture and help them grow in Him.

Your Presence: This means making it a priority to spend quality time with them — if they are truly important, you can make the time.

Your Love: Everyone wants to be love. If you love you will give, you will also care. You will pay attention and be at peace as much as it pertains and depends on you.

Your Compassion: This is being in it together in good and bad times. You will not be a carefree, negligent and unfaithful friend or neighbour.

A Voice: Yes, give them a voice. Many cannot speak for themselves where and when it matter. It’s often not their faults. It is because life has beaten them pulp, blue etc.

You will live and help them live a healthy Lifestyle. Your relationship will not be toxic.

Your Belief in Them: We all want and we thrive better with people and in environment and structure that shows a believe in us. We not to be praised not condemned. You will find it easier to say the cup is half full instead of half empty.

May God help us.

Amen.
