Message

Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend and it’s best we use our time doing the only one thing that is needful.

We need to understand time as an accident of motion that cannot be stopped or reversed, and that the waste of time is the most extravagant and costly of all expenses.

Take advantage of time and own it. Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

Do only the needful and remember that it does not take much strength to do things, but it requires a great deal of strength to decide what to do.

We may not control all the events that happen to us, but we can decide not to be reduced by them.

A decision isn’t a life long thing. Sometimes we make the wrong decision, but we can always change it if we realize we’ve made the wrong choice.

Only one thing has to change for us to know happiness in our lives:  Where we focus our attention!

Are you heaven focused? If you are congratulations. If not, you are on your own.

Truth is whether we like it or not every minute someone leaves this world behind. We are all in “the line” without knowing it. We never know how many people are before us.

We cannot move to the back of the line. We cannot step out of the line. We cannot avoid the line.  You just must be on that line. So while we wait in line; Serve God with all your heart, heaven focused.

Make moments count and Put God first always and you will finish strong and well.

In Luke 10:40 Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Jesus and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”

Jesus responding in Luke 10:41-42, said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.

But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Stop being worried and troubled about many things. One thing is needed, and like Mary choose that good part, which will not be taken away from you.

God help us to do that.

 Amen.
