Learn To Fight Alone

Text: Genesis 32:24
“And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.”

Message

In Genesis 32:24-29, we are told, “Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until daybreak…”

Until Jacob was left alone, the man did not wrestle with him.

The man wrestled with Jacob until daybreak. When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he struck him on the hip socket; and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him.

The moral lesson in all these is that we should learn to be alone and also to fight alone. The journey of your life was a travel alone. So, learn to further travel alone as you go along your path. Clear the rubbish. Climb the mountains. Enjoy the valley experience. They are all your chess game in life.

Learn to fight alone in the journey of life as, at the end, it is about you.

Take yourself on a date alone. Take the time to understand and love who you really are. Jacob hitherto wrestled with Esau, his brother, and won, not knowing that his war of destiny was waiting and no easy win. It left him with a blow to his hip. Above all, a change in name from Jacob, the supplanter to Jacob, the prevailer!

Be it known to you that the seeds of your thoughts, words, and actions have the power to shape your destiny.

Every choice you make, the decisions you take, and every effort you put in determines the outcome of your lives. None of these is from others.

Just as the farmer reaps what he sows, you too will reap what you have sown. So, be mindful of what you sow because a man’s harvest in life entirely depends on what he sows.

Travelling alone may make you thread and trend on the bad side of your bed. No worries. There is hope in the darkness!

No matter what you are facing or what you are going through, remember that every storm will pass, and the sun will shine again.

Hold on to your faith in Christ Jesus, and know that ALL WILL BE WELL. Just keep your head up. Better days are ahead.

Happiness even when alone is not a circumstance. It’s a mindset. It’s a choice to see the good, to appreciate the small things, and to find joy in every moment. So, choose to wear a smile, to laugh often, and to spread love and kindness wherever you go. Choose to be the sunshine in someone’s cloudy day and the calm in every storm.

Remember, happiness is a choice, and it’s always within our reach. CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY.

Let nothing tamper with your hope for better days.

Hold on to hope! When the darkness closes in and exhaustion threatens to consume you, remember that the dawn of deliverance is near.

Don’t let go of faith, for it is in the faintest of moments that God’s strength is revealed.

Draw upon His power, and let it carry you through the storm.

The STORM will soon be over.

In the morning, there shall be light when you will say as Jacob, “God is here, and I do not know it.”

Every day of your life is a blessing and a new day. If you trust God, everything is possible.

Stop seeing your problems. Rather, see God in it. God has the best view and plan to take you to your place of rest. That been the case He will also take you through the wilderness of life. Amen.
