You Are Not Alone In Your Trials and Difficulties

Text: Isaiah 41:10

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Message

Our life is like a train journey without a clear view. The route in front of us is invisible. We fear the unknown and possible difficulties that we are not up to handle.

People often disappoint and betray us. They dine with us in the day, and with our enemies, no soon, we are out of hearing distances!

Human help can and will fail. “The heart of man is desperately wicked. Who can know it?” They say hosanna today and the next crucify him. Men are snakes. Don’t judge them by their humility. Embedded in their bowels is a sac of replenishable venom. Dare to handle, get a ticket for death. You understand?

Painfully, we are at times and due to no fault of ours forced to continue our journey without our supposed trusted “friends.” Then we ask, who would now stand by us in the battle for the truth?

Paul gave an answer to Timothy. “The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit” (2 Timothy 4:22). Truth is, we can always count on God He promises “Fear not, for I am with you.” He stood with Paul and strengthened him; at the time when he had to stand in answer to the Roman Emperor, and no one, not even the Christian brothers and sisters, young or old, stood by him (2 Timothy 4:17).

Now, your difficulties are trials of faith provided you are on the side of the Lord Jesus Christ. He would stand by you. You can count on his presence and grace every day because “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrew 13:8).

You can count on God with a calm assurance that He will go with you and you will no longer fear the unknown, possible difficulties of life, and how to handle them.

Holy Spirit will teach and remind you of all things. Just get it right with God by accepting Jesus Christ offer of salvation now as tomorrow may be too late (John 3:16).

The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you (2 Timothy 4:22).

Amen
