Keep Working On Your Dream

Text: Genesis 50:19-20

“And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

Message

One thing I know and cherish about tomorrow is, you will never know who will be relevant, alive, available, bigger, smaller, richer or poorer and mostly needed. So thread carefully and most importantly never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will surely pass anyway.

I have learnt overtime that the greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. So don’t give up keep working on it. You will Succeed.

Truth is if you stay somewhere or you are doing something that wasn’t meant to be, you are only doing yourself an injustice and putting your future in jeopardy.

Note that If you spend your time chasing butterflies, they will fly away, but if you spend your time making a beautiful garden, the butterflies will come to you. Ponder on this and focus on your dream.

Your dream is the preparation for a better tomorrow if diligently focused and worked on.

The Bible tells the end to the travails of Joseph keeping to his dream thus:

Genesis 50:15 And when Joseph’s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.

Genesis 50:16 And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying,

Genesis 50:17 So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

Genesis 50:18 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.

Genesis 50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?

Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Genesis 50:21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

Genesis 50:22 And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father’s house: and Joseph lived an hundred and ten years.”

Today is another beautiful gift from God to us. I pray that the goodness of this day will not elude you.

You will find fulfillment in your labor, and the work of your hands shall be blessed far beyond your imagination.

May God smile on you and take good care of you this day in Jesus name.

Remain blessed.
