Their Dislike Is Your Badge Of Honor

Text: Genesis 39:9
“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

Message

A decision on the path of truth or on the side of God is never popular. It is a narrow way, but you never get it wrong. It is thesure way to heaven!

Don’t join the train on the broad way. It is going to hell.

You have a record of your past. Don’t live your life as if all there is for you to live for is to make your glory fake, a carbon or photocopy, or an attachment to that of others. Truth is, you are the original. You carry a glory that is not someone’s baggage attachment. So, don’t live your life as if you are a compensation for someone efforts in life.

You may be complementary to another’s glory but exit from relationships that want to see you as their competitor, subordinate, or foe! The only person you are competing with is yourself. A subjugation, subordination, or glory that sees yours as a competitor is not worth accepting. You are God’s original. The storm of life and the sky is enough for every Eagle to soar without head-on collision.

Don’t let the war of others’ afflictions become your warfare!

That you have chosen a different path does not make you a subordinate human being. You are your own employer and principal. Let no one see you as a messenger, servant, or slave. God made you a master in your own destiny.

Wisdom is the principal thing. Above knowledge get understanding.

Choose not to be intimidated when you have chosen your path and others have chosen theirs in the present. The respective choice of the present will determine tomorrow’s reward and award. So don’t be afraid.

Don’t take too much rubbish. Life is not a rehearsal! Don’t be anybody comfortable dustbin or waste site. Don’t be their guinea pig or specimen to be dissected at their will.

Refuse to take any further damaging orders and habits from your taskmaster.

When you like too much your comfort zone, you will remain kadesbernish in thought and outlook.

Never taking risk or being mentioned as a new name in the Life Guinness Record that is constantly reviewed with new names creating new entrant records is a sin against self.

The daily real challenge in life is how do we stand up, brace up, start running and soaring from the shackles of our past oddities, defeats and present enemies frontal blow and attack that has taken us down and forgranted as if our end has been determined?

Run your God-given vision. It will speak so that you will not only give your children the opportunities that you have had but a much better oppourtunities in quality and quantity? This is the question we must all take with us, talk about, and walk around to solve at all times.

The only way to solve this problem beginning for answer is to hold yourself and every of your intentional relational bonding accountable at all times. Dont bond with those who dont want to be told to account. No business run that way, not even the benevolent, ever steadfast loving and merciful God.

Where your path is different and you are not liked by others, wear their badge of dislike they presented to you as a badge of honour knowing that you cannot be normal or comfortable in a dysfunctional relationship or environment.

Do not fear. It is your future. It is about you. Take hold of it like Biblical Joseph did to become a prime minister in a foreign land, not withstanding all the rolled stones and obstacles placed against him on his mountain top climb!

Joseph wore Portiphars family dislike for him instigated by the devish wife of his master, as a badge of honour to the prison. He refused to enjoy temporary comfort at the expense of his divine destiny.

Guess worth had Joseph not queue behind God’s will for his life he would have been caught sooner than later red handed, in which case stoned to death or given summary execution and not just sent to prison!

Truth is, mountain climb is no easy turf. Don’t stand at the junction of failure and intimidation. Work for your lifting. If you don’t, no one will in this world where the case is crabtocracy and for better a survivor of the fittest.

“If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original,” says Ken Robinson.

No crime in trial. Prepare to take a risk by trying your hands on that new idea. Dont get stuck! Move forward and upward and remember, it’s riskier not to take a risk in life!

Also, walk out of dysfunctional relationships. Don’t count the number of dysfunctional relationships that have come and walked out of your life. They are just not part of your glory luggage. They are glory arrestors, vandalizers, and tormentors preventing you from fresh and refreshing air!

Don’t ever blame yourself for the outcoming of their buying and selling in your temple. You are not God to know everything. Remember, it was Judas, a key cabinet member of Jesus’ inner circle, who sold him to the enemy. Ask Paul of the Coopersmith et al. Ask King David of his many betrayals.

Quit self guilt. When you trust someone and you are betrayed, it is not you that is the issue. It is not you that is the problem or have problem. It is the person who betrayed you. It is the person who is not worth your trust. Proverb says, “A friend is born for the day of trouble,” yet “faith in an unfaithful friend is like a broken tooth out of joint.”

One of the loudest opponents Paul faced in Ephesus was Demetrius, a silversmith who made silver shrines of the pagan goddess, Artemis. Paul’s preaching had impacted Demetrius’s business. He saw Paul as a heretic who dared defame the name of his great goddess and as an economic threat. Demetrius and the town of Ephesus fought against Paul because Paul’s teaching made many Ephesians and tourists stop buying the idols that Demetrius created. And when they heard this, they were filled with wrath and cried out, saying, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians.” And the city was filled with the confusion: and they rushed with one accord into the theatre, having seized Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel.

Also, Alexander the Coppersmith is a person in the New Testament, mentioned by Paul in 2 Timothy 4:14, which states, “Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; the Lord will repay him according to his deeds.” Trully, vengeance is the exclusive prerogative of God.

Remember, Demas left Paul; the implication was that Demas did not want to be a martyr, so he abandoned Paul in Rome just before he was executed. If this is the case, the allurement that enticed Demas was the pride of life. He valued his earthy life more than receiving the crown of life (James 1:12; Rev. 2:10).

In 1 Timothy 1:20, Hymenaeus is included in the “some” who had put away faith and a good conscience and who had made shipwreck concerning faith. The apostle adds that he had delivered Hymenaeus and Alexander to Satan, that they might learn not to blaspheme.

Glory be to God, as Paul concluded the story in 2 Timothy 4:17-18, “Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

Your best decision is staying on God’s side. Remain there for what will it profit a man who gains the whole world but loses his soul?

You will not be a candidate of hell fire.

Your light will arise. Your light will shine, never covered again. The glory and beauty of the latter shall be greater than the former in your life in Jesus’ name.

Amen.

Shalom.
