Now That You Caught Your Pastor In Error

Text:1 Chronicles 16:22

“You shall not touch my Anointed, and you shall not harm my Prophets.”

Message

Today’s text is also found in Psalm 105:15, and other translations of it put the same warning this way.

“Do not touch my chosen people, and do not hurt my prophets.”  “Don’t you dare lay a hand on my anointed, don’t hurt a hair on the heads of my prophets.”Do not touch my anointed ones or harm my prophets.”

Do you obey or disdain this express divine instruction?

Some allude to errors of their spiritual leader as if it is a small thing to do.

Some make jest of their pastor when found in error. Others condemn them without limit.

Many don’t even give their pastor the benefit of the doubt that they are human, too. They soon forget Paul’s admonition that “brethren pray for us” and that the fall of their pastors should be looked at from the perspective of striking the shepherd, and the sheep will scatter!

Thank God you found out your pastors error. Now that you found him in error, will you bury him or wake him up?

A pastor once asked his congregation, “Will you wake me up if I die?”

What’s your honest response?

Remember those that made Moses see the land of Canaan but loss stepimg on it themselves never saw it. They died in the wilderness.

Those who mocked a man of God as being bald headed ended the very moment in the beats belly.

Be careful. It is never too late to change. God bless you as you do. Amen.
