Making assumptions is a normal response to life, as our brain keeps track of our experiences and interactions. However, living based on assumptions can lead to very sticky situations.
The promises of God will never fail and like Abraham we can trust and fully obey God knowing that He will provide all we need.
Faith looks like great deliverance and miracles and at other times faith can look like walking through the fire and getting burnt but trusting that God will cause all things to work for your good
Comparison is a thief of joy and the grass is only greener where you water it.

Prayer requires faith and persistence, you must believe that God will answer and by faith continue to ask, seek and knock. Like the widow in Luke 18, He will surely answer and give you justice.
