When Trust Is Abused<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Text: Proverbs 25:19 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MESSAGE<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proverbs 25:18 says, “A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.” Being so described, why have you subjected yourself to so much painful devastations because someone broke your heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your heart was not foolish for believing someone. You were intentional and relational but the person was not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That you put them as trusted is not weakness. Stop blaming yourself. You were created to be intentional in relating with others. What matters is what you learn after someone misuses your confidence in them. You let wisdom and not suspicion rules, and reigns in your heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, trusting someone who has shown they are not faithful causes pain and disappointment. Like a broken tooth or a hurt foot, relying on an unfaithful person fails you when you need help the most. Nothing do you at all. It is the person who betrayed you that sinned and should carry the burden, guilt, grief and the weights for not standing by you in hard times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is fighting with a pig in a mud environment if you keep expecting pity, more help or understanding from those not worthy of your trust. That often leads to more hurt. Don’t give them additional room to break down your safety valve or collapse your walls of networth, self preservation and esteems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real trust needs honesty and safe actions, which are missing in traitors, the unrepentant betrayers and the unfaithfuls. What you can at best do with them is to look at their future actions, judging them by what they do, not by what they promised. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, protect yourself, keeping a personal safe space so you do not get hurt again. Sadly, you still have to find the hard to find, and rare safe people to share your time and heart with who shows that they are honest, steady and ready to respect your space in the sanctuary of life. Goodluck, you find the dependable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Matthew 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. St. Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loneliness because you belong to Jesus Christ is the price you pay to build yourself up, and the greatest thing you can build is yourself in Him, with you decreasing and Him increasing in your life that His glory in you may be made manifest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth is, “The mind does not fear the truth first. It fears the life the truth will demand. That is why denial feels calm. It postpones a decision, not a consequence.” No wonder we get the wages of sin, which is death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Believers should understand that sometimes our prayers are answered but the answer is No!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other word, “You cannot think your way into becoming the person only your actions can introduce. When the storm beats the tree, many birds fly away\u2014but the one that remains through the thunder is the one that truly calls it home.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is sin not attractive to you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sin keeps inviting you, “Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you\u2019ll be able to see further, for you are a magnet for success and opportunities.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beloved, all that ends in this world. You will soon discovered, albeit too late that all that gilliters are not gold, and that vanity upon vanity, is a life lived without Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember that one day you will wake up and do things for the last time without knowing it\u2019s the last time. The sleep or that going out or coming in, eating, fighting, quarrelling etc will look normal, yet will be the last time! Nothing extra ordinary except that you would have said good night on the earthly side and find yourself woke up on the otherside of the terrestrial. There you have welcome to your eternity in heaven or hell, on the right or left side of Jesus who you obeyed or betrayed, condemned, rejected and ignored when you had the opportunity to accept on earth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, you cannot and have not the luxury of a repeat journey! Then you will remember the saying that, “Most betrayals begin long before trust is broken. They begin the day curiosity ends. The moment someone believes they no longer need to understand you, they begin speaking to a memory instead of a person.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accept and follow Jesus now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
