Praying for a long time?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Text: Daniel 10:12<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

When the Bible asked we pray until our joy is full, the Word had in mind that we should be ready to pray for a longer time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are not praying for a long time because our God is deaf, cant hear us, is too busy, He is in deep sleep or slumber or on leave of absence, but because the prayer of a believer is a sweet aroma before God and He love we decrease so that He increases. If He is lifted up, He will draw men to himself with us as the vessel of carriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We pray longer because there is an opened door, but the adversary will not let you enter in the manner of a father Christmas offer. There is no free lunch any where. Everything comes with a cost, even poison, because the only language the Dragon understand is that of violent “drag on” until the violent take him down by force. There is no other place to do this but to follow Jesus example. He started and ended in prayers, and for every moment of his ministry He was an example that there is nothing prayers cannot do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are praying longer so that God will destroy your unrepentant enemy, just as He sent angel Micheal to do away with the Prince of Persia who withstood Daniel answers for twenty additional days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, praying longer is a training ground for fellowship with God, and becoming a prayer warrior and General. If you want God to have regard for your voice and presence as He did to Prophet Elijah, intense and longer prayers is the access code to the very powerhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The longer you prayed, especially in private, the greater your public manifestation of the glory of God in you. You cannot encounter God and mere mortals won’t obey you as God’s Ambassador. So long as there is a man to stand in the gap to pray, there is the Almighty God to answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The longer you have allowed the enemy to exact upon you before you saw and came to your prayer closet to take that which is rightly yours, the more you are likely to tarry longer in your place of prayer, for it is easier to destroy than to build. You cannot treat eczema as you will, a cancerous wound. That is why attack is the best form of defence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, you sometimes as the case in a football tournament, need the extra time to produce a clear winner whose joy is full. The game of life is not fought on draws. No, a clear and undisputed winner must emerged. One, a winner and the other a losser. Every contest with the enemy must be either head or tail. One must be knocked out for the other for the referee to pronounced the other a champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the years it takes to reap from Plaintain, Pawpaw, and Orange is not the same as that of Iroko tree planted on the same day.
