Daily Devotional<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ingredients in finding grace in the sight of God<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Text: (Exodus 33:13).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Exodus 33:12, “Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.”<\/p>\n

He went further to pray in
Exodus 33:13, “Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.<\/p>\n

Then God answered in
Exodus 33:14, “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”<\/p>\n

A meditative look caused an investigation into all the things Moses took advantage to ask God for as an evidence of the favour or grace that he has found from God. Moses highlighted that he took so much advantage.<\/p>\n

Moses said, if I have found favour in your sight:<\/p>\n

– 1. Please show me your way (33 v 13)
– 2. Consider this nation your people (33 v 13)
– 3. Go with us (33 v 15-16 and 34 v 8)
– 4. Make us distinct from every other people on the face of the earth (33 v 16)
– 5. Show me your Glory (33 v 18)
– 6. Pardon our iniquity and our sin (34 v 9)
– 7. Take us for your inheritance (34 v9)<\/p>\n

Remember to pray for God’s favour but before you do invest in your relationship with God because that preceded the request of Moses<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
