(4) God allows trials in our lives to produce spiritual endurance.

A trial or testing of faith is intended to BUILD our faith. It is intended to more firmly establish us in an eternal relationship with God.

But why must our faith be questioned and contradicted?

Well, it wouldn’t have to be if we started out free of unbelief, sin, darkness, and error.

Proverbs 17:3 “The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the Lord tests hearts.”

James 1:2-4 “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Patience requires perseverence, which is persistence in doing something despite difficulty delay in achieving success, failure, or opposition, or it’s taking a long time to achieve one’s aim.

Perseverance is the action or condition or an instance of persevering or steadfastness.

Perseverence is, in my view, responsible for the resources you have today, be it time, money, or other assets on the way to achieving s goal you have set.

Wasting the time, money, or other assets

resources you have or are endowed may lead to regret and negative consequences in the future. It is wise to use them wisely and invest them in worthwhile endeavors. Remember, a waster today will become a beggar tomorrow.

Perseverence is the realisation that if getting to the top was easy, everyone would have gotten there. Also, it is the difficulties associated with climbing to the top that makes those at the top unique.

To wear the crown of victory, you must go through what those who have become victorious went through without cutting corners.

Perseverence requires you to bear in mind that people you serve might not serve you. People you love might not love you. The people you helped might gang to pull you down, and the people you stand for might stand against you. But, always remember that anything you do for humanity is never a waste, and God that sees everything has a way to reward and compensate all the good things you did for others. Do not regret any good deed, whether it is appreciated or not. Do good always and leave the rest to God.

It is human to get the wrong pay back, but know that revenge never ends well. While it may give a sense of satisfaction and closure in the short term, it often leads to negative consequences in the long term.

Instead of seeking revenge, it’s better to move on and focus on creating a positive future for yourself. Truth is, if your resolve is to wear that crown of victory, then you’ve got to keep grinding. Persevere a little more. Release those heavy tears when it becomes necessary, but make sure you’re moving with focus.

1 Peter 4:12 encourages us to endure trials with faith and hope. Jesus actually promised us that more trials would come as a result of following him. The more we follow Jesus, the more we live to spread the good news of Jesus in the world, the harder things will get for us in this world.

I pray that at our low estates, God Almighty will strengthen us so as to overcome every moment of trials and tribulations in Jesus’ name.

I see victorious end for a man or woman that never gives up.

[6

post-4719","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-devotion
["GET
