No individual or tribe is indispensable. But we may all fare better if we can get our priorities right, appreciating others and self worth devoid of selfishness or arrogance.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you wants to know how indispensable you or your tribe is, check the population of others and their tribes in your area and apply the empty seat, &#8220;you will be greatly missed&#8221; theory.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>APPRECIATION remains the easiest way of getting what you want or don&#8217;t have. This we show in our daily acts and omissions. For instance always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn\u2019t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don\u2019t grow small by treating someone well in public.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don\u2019t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Return money that you have borrowed even before the person that borrowed you remember or ask for it. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch\/dinner.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When you meet people, don\u2019t ask awkward questions like \u2018Oh so you aren\u2019t married yet?\u2019 Or \u2018Don\u2019t you have kids\u2019 or \u2018Why didn\u2019t you buy a house?\u2019 Or why don&#8217;t you buy a car?If a colleague tells you they have a doctors&#8217; appointment, don\u2019t ask what it\u2019s for, just say &#8220;I hope you\u2019re okay&#8221;. Don\u2019t put them in the uncomfortable position of having to tell you their personal illness. If they want you to know, they&#8217;ll do so without your inquisitiveness.\u00a0 For God\u2019s sake it isn\u2019t your problem;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what&#8217;s 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you tease someone, and they don\u2019t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you&#8217;re.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Praise publicly. Criticize privately. Remember to say \u201cthank you\u201d when someone is helping you. If you take a taxi with a friend and he\/she pays now, try paying next time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don\u2019t swipe left or right. You never know what\u2019s next. Also, there\u2019s almost never a reason to comment on someone\u2019s weight. Just say, \u201cYou look fantastic.\u201d If they want to talk about losing weight, they will.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Treat the cleaner with the same respect as the CEO. Nobody is impressed at how rude you can treat someone below you but people will notice if you treat them with respect. The practice of staring at your phone when a person is speaking directly to you is rude.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mind your business unless anything involves you directly &#8211; just stay out of it. When meeting someone after a long time, unless they want to talk about it, don\u2019t ask them their age and salary and never give advice until you\u2019re asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Remove your sunglasses if you are talking to anyone in the street. It is a sign of respect. Moreso, eye contact is as important as your speech; and never talk about your riches in the midst of the poor. Similarly, don&#8217;t talk about your children in the midst of the barren.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After reading a good message try to say, &#8220;Thanks for the message&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t wait for reward or expect others reciprocating your appreciation of them. They may not be forthcoming. Nevertheless, the one who falls and gets up is stronger than the one who never tried. If you don\u2019t give up on something you truly believe in, you will find a way. Never stop dreaming. Never stop believing. Never give up.
