Stop blaming yourself that things are not exactly as you planned them to be. One reason is that you are not your own potter, God is. Secondly, you can propose but it is God who disposes. Thirdly, only God’s counsel prevails and life can be likened to the BODMAS theory that tells you how to solve mathematical equations but does not apply to every equation. It sometimes remains just a theory and is inapplicable, while in some, it remains just a method, and at other times, an answer in part or gives no clue at all to the answer.

So, in place of the blame game, be thankful. That achievement of yours that you call little is someone’s major life breakthrough. Instead of staying down and out, begin to thank God for his mercies toward you. If for nothing else, at least for saving you and watching you growing to the fullness of stature in Christ Jesus. That is the best and it is makes the angels in heaven happy.

Luke 12:32 says, “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” I thought the verse is limited in context and person and just on record to encourage me. However, now seeing Satan and his host by permission of God as an invited guest at my divine dinner I know that the verse is real in practical terms as a never expiring currency from the King of Kings for me to spend to meet my need. This verse is about what makes God glad — not merely about what God will do or what he has to do, but what he delights to do, what he loves to do and takes pleasure in doing. May your fulfilling of God’s will, counsel, and plans always be your entire focus and delight in life through Christ Jesus. Amen.

Conclusion

As composed by a songwriter, and let it be your song and action too “Move on, move on, don’t be tired, your Saviour understands it shall be well, it shall be well.”

It is well with you.
